Digital Citizenship at ELE Students in grades 1-5 have completed an online course called Digital Citizenship created by Common Sense Media during their Technology Class. The purpose of this course is to promote digital citizenship and appropriate online behavior. This course focuses on teaching students to be safe, responsible and kind while using digital tools for academic purposes at school and social/academic uses at home. Students brought home a Net Cetera guide in their backpacks. This guide, from the Federal Trade Commission, provides tips and information to give caregivers the tools needed to support our 21st century digital learners. Thank you for continually looking for opportunities to model and support what it means to be a good digital citizen. Together we can prepare our students with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the digital word safely. For more resources visit Common Sense Media
